AVANT-GARDE
Avant-garde (vyslovuje sa [avɑgaʁd] vo francúzštine) znamená "předvoj" prídavné meno forme sa používa v angličtine, aby odkazoval na ľudí alebo na stavebné práce, ktoré sú experimentálne alebo inovatívne, a to najmä vo vzťahu k umeniu, kultúre a politike.
Avant-garde represents a pushing of the boundaries of what is accepted as the norm or the status quo , primarily in the cultural realm.
